Update from the US: I have Brain Damage

Last spring, I traveled to the United States for further investigation into my health issues. I had already been told quite a lot, but another specialist was going to take a closer look at specific brain regions. It took a while, but the report is finally in. And yes, what I feared has been confirmed: there is visible brain damage.

White spots in the brain

The MRI shows small lesions in the white matter of my brain. This suggests previous inflammation in the brain’s blood vessels, for example. Such inflammation can damage the surrounding brain tissue and cause lasting damage. My neurological symptoms started immediately after the COVID vaccination, so it strongly appears that inflammatory reactions caused by the vaccine’s spike proteins have affected my brain.

Hippocampus damaged

There is volume loss in my right hippocampus, the brain’s memory center. There is also enlarged fluid around the area, indicating loss of brain tissue. This abnormality is consistent with Mesial Temporal Sclerosis (MTS), a condition that causes both memory problems and epilepsy. Since the vaccination, my memory has drastically declined. My mind is like a sieve now. This explains a lot.

Epileptic seizures originating from the hippocampus

When the hippocampus is damaged, for example by inflammation (encephalitis) or oxygen deprivation, the neural tissue becomes disrupted. It can then emit abnormal electrical signals, leading to epileptic seizures. Well! Since the vaccination, I’ve indeed been having those. In addition to tremors, spasms, jolts, and neuropathy, I also experience seizures that begin with a strange sensation in my stomach, followed by nausea, chills, and shaking on the right side of my body. After such an episode, I’m completely exhausted. In the first few months, the seizures were intense. I would vomit from nausea, smack my lips, and my hands would cramp during a seizure.

Finally, proof after four years

“It’s harmless,” said the professor at Erasmus MC hospital in Rotterdam about my symptoms that started immediately after the vaccination. Back in 2021, he saw absolutely no reason to investigate my brain and blamed it all on fatigue. He was completely wrong. My second-opinion neurologist attributed my issues to a Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), essentially a ‘software glitch.’ He was also completely wrong. I have a hard, physical defect — I have proven brain damage. Now I must live with a brain that’s damaged and hope that things don’t get worse over time.
