Post Pandemic Health Issues Congress Sarajevo
Political pressure and international collaboration for needed change

On October 11, 2024, I had the honor of speaking at the Post Pandemic Health Issues Congress in Sarajevo, Bosnia. I shared my Pfizer vaccine injury experience and the journey to create my platform, The Long Shot. Together with Annemerel Kloosterman who got injured by the Moderna vaccines, we introduced the Dutch Foundation Stichting Coronaschade to global experts focused on building a healthier, more resilient post-pandemic future.
The congress was expertly organized by pathologist Ivana Pavic, MD, PhD. She has a personal story of her own. Ivana developed Multiple Sclerosis from the Hepatitis B vaccine. This experience fuels her passion and determination as a warrior in this important fight. The congress was held in partnership with Inicijativa Hipokrat, a group of doctors and experts in Croatia that was formed during the COVID-19 pandemic. This group promotes medical practices based on independent research and aims to keep healthcare free from political influence.

Professor Tom Sunic opened the congress with sharp comments, comparing COVID policy to the totalitarian regimes of former Yugoslavia. He also shared the heartbreaking story of his two-year-old child’s sudden death, which may have been possibly linked to a childhood vaccination, adding deep emotion to his speech. During a coffee break, I talked with a Croatian general practitioner who mentioned that no patients asked for her opinion during the pandemic, even though she had a critical viewpoint. She found this surprising. She also pointed out the fear among doctors of losing their licenses for expressing alternative opinions in Croatia.
Annemerel and I were honored to be the first speakers to share our stories. We spoke how Covid vaccinations have fundamentally altered our lives and discussed our challenges in navigating the “new normal.” Many attendees resonated with our experiences, recognizing similar symptoms in their patients and the medical gaslighting we encountered in hospitals. We introduced the Dutch foundation Stichting Coronaschade and our efforts to advocate for justice and recognition of vaccine injuries, including the acknowledgment of Post Vaccine Syndrome, a topic frequently misattributed to Long/Post COVID.

Professor Sucharit Bhakdi expressed his strong views on the political motives behind Germany’s vaccination policy. He stated that this policy is not based on scientific evidence and considers the actions of those in charge to be criminal.
Swiss lawyer Philipp Kruse highlighted the need for political involvement and warned against harmful regulations at the European level. He advised vaccine injury victims to take legal action if they have strong evidence. For weaker cases, he suggested that focusing on health and recovery might be a better choice to avoid disappointment and unnecessary expenses.
The congress also highlighted possible solutions. Marc Girardot discussed his book The Needle’s Secret, noting that vaccine injuries aren’t new and suggested Normobaric Oxygen Therapy as a possible treatment for those affected. Domagoj Prebeg from Zagreb introduced his new device Healeex designed for pain relief.

The Netherlands was well represented at the congress, with Maarten Fornerod as the moderator from Stichting Artsen Collectief, a Dutch collective of doctors. Wouter Aukema presented alarming data illustrating the harmful effects of Covid vaccines. General practitioner Rob Elens, recognized for his use of ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, and other anti-inflammatory treatments and supplements, shared his experiences in managing Long Covid and vaccine-injured patients. Immunologist Theo Schetters provided insights on excess mortality in the Netherlands and lawyer Meike Terhorst addressed the cautious introduction of digital vaccination passports in Europe.

During our evaluation, it was clear that political pressure is crucial to reduce future risks from current health policies. We must continue talking to politicians and warning them about new rules that could threaten our medical and personal freedoms. Working together with critical movements internationally is important to stop harmful laws.
The conference was a friendly, workshop-like atmosphere that encouraged open discussions and valuable insights. I left feeling energized and motivated to continue my work. I also reached an important milestone: I flew for the first time since my vaccine injury. I was worried about how my brain fog, tinnitus, and ear pressure would react, but to my surprise, my Pfizer-related symptoms handled it well. Hooray!
